Specialty Care Transport Training Program

 

Program Content:

  1. Scheduled lectures (please call Cal-Ore for schedule)

  2. Weekly skills lab with skills checklist

  3. ICU clinical time at Sutter Coast Hospital - 8 hours

  4. Preceptorship - minimum of 3 complex interfacility transports (ground & air)
    accompanied by flight coordinator or assigned critical care RN.

  5. Knowledge Evaluations
    A) Written
    B) Skills

  6. Scavenger journal - notebook of required assignments.
