Cal-Ore Life Flight enters pact with
Rogue Valley Medical Center

 

Cal-Ore Life Flight entered into an agreement recently with Rogue Valley Medical Center to provide air ambulance services.

The agreement provides for Cal-Ore to transport neonatel patients from the Crescent City and Gold Beach areas to Rogue Valley Medical Center as well as air ambulance flights for other patients in the region.

"We are happy that we have entered into this agreement with Rogue Valley Medical Center and look forward to a long relationship with this high level medical facility," said Dan Brattain, Cal-Ore president.

According to Brattain, 19 registered nurses, specializing in neonatel/newborn infant care, completed Cal-Ore's required FAA aircraft crewmember training.

Cal-Ore Lift Flight's three pressurized aircraft are based a the Crescent City airport and typically transport patients to various higher medical care facilities.

Annually, Cal-Ore transports hundreds of patients to the Medford area from Sutter Coast and Curry General hospitals, officials said.
